Our Impact

I don't think I would have gone straight to a four-year university without the help of the program.”

As a 12th-grader with a 3.5 GPA, Cyntia had no plans to attend a four-year college when she began working with LoyalTeach in October, 2016. LoyalTeach helped her with last-minute registration for the SAT and encouraged her to make her third attempt to pass geometry, which she did with a B-. Cyntia went on to Cal State Channel Islands, where she has earned a GPA of 3.5 on her way to her expected graduation in December, 2021.

A high achiever, Erika contacted LoyalTeach late in her college application process, just in time to be pointed toward several private colleges she had never heard of that would meet her full financial need if she were to gain admission. She is now thrilled to be attending one of those--the University of Rochester--where she has earned a GPA of 3.5 in her first two years as a pre-medical student.

Before beginning to work with LoyalTeach In 10th grade, Fernando earned a 1.84 GPA, including an F in biology and a C- in history; in his second semester, he earned a  C and a B-, respectively, in the same courses. The following summer, he took the first semester of biology again, replacing his F with an A. As a junior, he earned a 2.95 GPA in six college preparatory classes.
