Ian taught college preparatory classes in English, Spanish, and history for over twenty years at Midland School, a boarding high school in Los Olivos, CA, where he lives with his wife, a college counselor and writing teacher, and two children. He earned his BA from Stanford University and his MA in educational leadership from Columbia University.
A native Spanish speaker and the first in his family to graduate from college, Eduardo has over twenty years of experience as a counselor in public high schools, college access programs, and community colleges, including Allan Hancock College and Santa Barbara City College, where he currently serves as an academic counselor. Eduardo earned his BA in sociology and MS in counseling from Fresno State University. He lives in Buellton, CA, with his wife, a school psychologist, and three sons.
